Born at a farm near Bothaville, bred in Botshabelo and flourished in Bloemfontein.

Shaxe is sociable and out-going individual who’s full of zest and high on life. He enrolled at the University of Free State in 2000 to study Bsc Statistics but within two years of his studies he discovered that radio was his calling. Shaxe was the official announcer at the 2010 World Cup games played in Bloemfontein and also Emceed MACUFE Youth Festival in 2009 featuring the international hip hop artist T-Pain.

He’s currently the ambassador for SANBS in F.S and N.C. He’s a club DJ, motivational speaker and supports a number of charity initiatives in and around Bloemfontein.

Shaxe hosts On Air with Shaxe weeknights from 9-12PM on OFM and The Saturday Switch on Saturday evening from 10-12AM.
