Yolanda is a positive person who brightens up any situation. She is passionate about people and has done extensive community upliftment work before starting a career in radio. She was born in Potchefstroom but grew up in KZN.

She completed her masters degree in Sustainable Development at the NWU and it was as a student that her path crossed with radio. Her radio talent allowed her the opportunity to join the OFM team in 2009 as part of a regional On Air competition. Since then she has presented weekend shows, stood on for other presenters and is the producer for the afternoon drive show, HUISTOE.

Yolanda enjoys singing, going camping (preferably at the ocean) and loves meeting passionate people who also want to make a difference.

Johrne is currently the voice behind ‘Huistoe” – the all new afternoon drive show on OFM presented weekdays from 3-6pm.  Johrne has extensive experience in media that include:

• The editor of De Kat (man)
• Television presenting for De Kat program
• Television presenting for ‘Gons’ (music program) for 7 years.

Jorhne is an excellent choice for a professional billingual MC.  From very upmarket functions, sit down banquet of 1000 delegates to informal very relaxed functions, stage MC’ing at festivals and the like.  If required, he can tailor make his MC script to include comedy that suits the genre / theme of the event.

His stage work does not end there. He also performs as a solo artist the songs he wrote for Ddisselblom, but as an acoustic set.
