Bloemfontein-born Kaya is a busy, busy man. When he is not wowing the crowds with his Afro Pop sounds, he runs an entertainment company that does sound, stage, screens, catering and corporate gear. He has an extremely strong work ethic and feels it is important to spend every day doing something that will bring in money or put food on the table.

However, this does not mean that he is a boring workhorse! He loves soccer, cricket and rugby and enjoys spending time chilling with his fiancée, watching movies or other artists perform.

aAn established artist, Kaya has shared a stage with many beloved South African artists, including Ringo, Freshly Ground, Malaika, Slificater, Tshepo Tshola, Lira, Hugh Masekela and others. He loves singing his own songs and the fact that he is only himself on stage, without trying to be somebody else, has won him many loyal and dedicated fans.

He finds inspiration in the Word of God and his two biggest fans, his two boys. Kaya has many big dreams and aspirations.
Hosting a television talk show and regularly performing overseas are just two of the things he still wants to accomplish.

For now, he is happy making music, building his business and spending time with the ones he loves.
